Estonian municipalities ask for the site diary and covered-work certificates when you submit a use notice (kasutusteatis) or apply for a use permit (kasutusluba). Siteo keeps them up to date, so you don't have to piece them together afterwards.

Certificates are made on site, not in the office at night

Inspection method, measurements and competent persons (pädev isik) are on the form.
Photos are attached to the certificate.
Certificate plan: AI reads the design's explanatory note and lists the certificates you will need (Pro).
The client's supervisor (omanikujärelevalve) can view and sign certificates.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to keep a site diary at all?

The site diary and covered-work certificates are among the construction documents Estonian municipalities ask for in the use notice or use permit procedure. Without them, the missing work has to be proven afterwards with photos, invoices and a building auditor's assessment.

The building is finished but there is no diary. What now?

Siteo can fill the diary afterwards: pick a date range, entries are created and each day gets the actual historical weather. You add the work and materials yourself.

How does digital signing work?

Press the DigiDoc signing button in Siteo and sign in the free DigiDoc app. On Android you share the signed file straight back to Siteo; on an iPhone or computer you upload it with a button. Siteo shows who signed and when.

Can the client's supervisor and subcontractors get access?

Yes. You can invite a viewer to a site. They can see entries and certificates, download PDFs and sign certificates.

What language is the diary in?

Diaries and certificates are saved in Estonian, as authorities require. Workers can write in English, Russian or Ukrainian and Siteo translates the text into Estonian.

What happens at the end of the trial?

The trial lasts 14 days. If you don't want to continue, nothing is charged. You only get an invoice when you choose a plan.
